Wessex publishes college-and graduate-level textbooks at significantly reduced prices compared to traditional publications. Wessex also publishes tradebooks.

In the U.S., Wessex engages the services of national book distributor, BookMasters Inc., Ashland, Ohio to deliver books to customers. When a hardcopy book is ordered or an instructor requests a desk copy, BookMasters packs and ships. For delivery in the U.S. and Canada, BookMasters ships by U.S. Postal Service (USPS). For overseas delivery, BookMasters uses USPS but will accommodate requests for alternative delivery methods.

For deliveries in the British Isles and Continental Europe, Wessex engages the services of Naval and Military Press, Uckfield, Sussex, Great Britain. Shipping methods are Royal Mail and DHL.
